Nothing stands for "Network Of Truthful Honest Information & Needed Glee". It is meant to help relieve stress and inform the public of the pandemic we are currently in.
We began with the idea of making βNothingβ mean something. Then we combined of our desire to help others cope with the outbreak and a desire to inform the misinformed into a multi functional website.
It is a multipage site which uses JavaScript to get user input and also uses APIs to get and display accurate information. We also used p5.js to create a game that would hopefully help people de-stress.
Attached is a link to our project, hosted on Glitch. We have also included a photo of our homepage and a video demo that showcases our website and all its functions.
Emoti-Con 2020 has ended and leaving new reactions is now off.
This project is not only creative but it is also super relevant to these current trying times. By providing a way for people to get accurate facts about the virus you are helping eliminate the stress of having to look for and absorb all the different information about this virus. I also really liked the fact that you took it a step even further and decided to provide many different sources for stress relief for those who have anxiety about our current situation. One suggestion I would like to make is to provide the sources for your information and provide links in case the people visiting your site would want to read more about the virus. Also, you have such an awesome project here, I really would have liked to see more of your design process from how you decided on this particular idea to how you went about creating this site and what your future plans for it are.
Amazing collaborative effort, so much work has gone into this. Loved the intro video also
I enjoyed the team's research, collaboration video, and front-end development outcomes. Thanks for considering pandemic issues! If you want to do more work like this in the future, focus on your UX and visual design skills, it will help your site more human-centric outcomes. Good work!
What a great idea to do "Nothing" ! The site has a lot of good information and was easy to navigate. I especially liked the "stress relief" and how it gave options for all age groups.
Thanks for considering current pandemic issue for everyone in the world. I enjoyed the team's research, collaboration video, and front-end development outcomes. If you want to do more work like this in the future, focus on your UX and visual design skills, you can develop your site using a human-centric approach. Good work!
Love this! So cool, useful, and thinking about how to help right now.
I really enjoyed how interactive, fun, and informative your website was. Definitely something I will be visiting from time to time. Good job :)
The website is very well designed and informative. Itβs easy for users to understand what they are doing since the layout is very organized yet creative. The colors give off a positive mood. Great job!
