This website was built over 5-6 weeks. I had very little knowledge of html and css. I came up with this idea because I wanted women in art history to be known of. My website is flexible, it has information on her and some of her paintings.

Emoti-Con 2020 has ended and leaving new reactions is now off.
Hi there! First off, I absolutely love the focus of your project. I used to work for an art startup called Meural, and one of the tenets of our work was highlighting more women+-identifying artists, so this is great to see. Itโs really cool to see how much you were able to figure out in five to six weeks. Did you enjoy working on this? At Fullstack and the Grace Hopper Program, you can take your web development skills to the next level in as little as 17 weeks. Keep learning and buildingโIโm excited to see what you come up with! I also want to commend you for putting your sources front and center. Credibility is so important as a developer (and no matter what field you work in!). If you want to get a little more comfortable with CSS, a fun place to start would be adding more color and experimenting with different font treatments. I also recommend looking into HTML image padding. Those will definitely help you take this project to the next level! Maybe you can even add more women artists to your site in the future. That could be really cool!
This is a great beginning for a project that could expand to showcase many women artists! Good job on sourcing your references!!!
Great Job at taking the time to create awareness of Cecillia Beaux! I wanted to point out that I noticed that you had little knowledge of html and css before creating this.. The fact that you learned html and css to create this means that you've learned some very useful skills that are going to open up so many doors for you! I believe that with what you have submitted you have clearly mastered the art of linking and including images and structuring your site which was very well done! I think that if you enjoyed this and you want to continue this project - it'd be really cool to use your new found skill to create a site that is a library of artists that inspire and motivate you! If you also want to learn more about how to style it up, you should try delving deeper into CSS. Personally it's my favorite! Great Work!
A great way to learn HTML (and many other things) is to learn as you go. I loved your use of styling on the website. One thing you can add is a <title></title> tag to have a title for the web page listed on the tab in your browser. Your website is very informative and I learned a lot while looking through it. Great Job!
This was a great way to put the artist's work and information out there. I learned a lot and appreciated how the home page guided me to the next link at the end of the information. The only change I would suggest is switching the links of "Cecilia's Works" and "Sources".Thank you for the information!
I learned a lot about someone I had never heard of previously. The design, HTML coding and your writing are all excellent! I know you will continue to grow your talents in web design with more projects in the future. Great work!
