My project is glasses that has all the functions that a phone has or even more. My project makes peopleβs life much easier. It will allow a person to have free hands while using my invention.
Emoti-Con 2020 has ended and leaving new reactions is now off.
Hi Yaroslav, thank you for your submission. This is a wonderful idea & a hot topic in current technology trends. I like how clearly you presented the goal, supporting evidence, & a lovely illustration.
Very futuristic and forward-thinking concept Yaroslav β love the ideas and how they help contribute to society in many different forms. Your drawings serve as a great "proof of concept," or a way to show to others what you are trying to represent; they are drawn with great creativity and are super clear and to-the-point. As a graphic designer, I am always trying to make things simple and clean β and I think you really accomplished that here! I hope you do some research on some companies out in the world who are exploring an invention similar to this β like Google and their "Google Glasses" project β and potentially in your future you can go help them or other companies striving to make accessible products for people build for the future :)
I really love your prototype and artwork! I wonder what it would look like from the view of wearing the GiP? This is a great idea, to prevent accidents.
Super fun and very useful! This invention even makes sure we don't loose our phones, and prevents someone from stealing them. Love the drawings!
Hi Yaroslav, Thank you for submitting your technology idea and concepts to Emoti-con! The problem you describe in your slides is something that, when solved, would have so many applications out in the real world. I think that your design has a cool futuristic look to it. I find it interesting you chose to have the user only see a video feed of what the camera sees which could have some advantages. One such advantage is having programmers know exactly what the user will be seeing. The biggest challenge I see here is implementing the gestures to control the phone since they may be hard for the device to discern in sub optimal conditions (dark, snowy, dirty camera etc). Though if you are be able to implement a way to get text and commands from brainwaves - you've got your solution. You could probably make a lot of money from that technology alone ;). That being said I think you gave good documentation for this idea. I really appreciate the sketches you drew of both the inside and out of the device, with call outs to specific parts. Sketches like these are made by tech companies every time they design a new product. I encourage you to check out the Microsoft Hololens when you have the chance. Many companies today (including Verizon) are investing in Augmented Reality (AR) technologies because of the myriad of applications it has. AR is the closest thing to your concept, and I think you would find it interesting. -Charlie
Great idea! And I love your drawings.
