I came up with this idea by thinking of ideas about interactive shooter games and how it could be connected to my theme. Features of this game had evolved with a noticeable change because from the first image at the top, that was the only design for the playerโs character until I improved on it making the character look different based on what direction the player is moving to. This game works because Scratch was simple and easy to understand when coding.

The presentation was great, informative & interesting. Overall the appearance was engaging & the controls were responsive. In the future, perhaps you can add sound effects or facts then cigarettes get shot.
Your game is not only engaging, but informative as well! Love how you added a way for players to read more information about the topic before they played. Also, I felt like by shooting the cigarettes, I was helping to eradicate the problem ... and the excessive amount of cigarettes entering the screen helps to show how bad the problem really is. Overall, I believe that the game is an exciting way to capture student's interest through a shoot-em-up game, while also teaching everyone of the problems of smoking.
Hi Ethan, Thanks for submitting your project to Emoti-con! Right away I want to say I really appreciate all of the documentation you made for this project. It's clear, concise, and also has your personality in it! Also I genuinely enjoyed playing your game. I noticed a lot of small things that made the game better. The things like - the invincibility frames given when hit, the wrap-around map like Mario Bros, and how the player character looks in the direction the player is moving - elevate a game from functional to polished. In a future iteration, I'd like to see a combo counter for taking out multiple cigarettes in one shot - it would give players an extra challenge while completing the main objective. Overall - great project both in documentation AND execution. I think you have real potential here! -Charlie
I thought this was a very fun game, and liked that you could choose to start the game or learn about the information. I think it would be great if you had a second level. The health/heart count was really helpful to have while playing
The characters were fun, and the game is very entertaining! I can tell you put hard work and effort into it and let me just say it paid off. I liked that in the start of the game you put all the reasons smoking is bad for you. Keep up the good work!
You did a great job explaining your idea in your video game walkthrough! I love the simple, clean artwork and gameplay. Awesome work!
